Assistant Content Manager

Job Purpose

The Assistant Content Manager works to assist content generation and curation to improve our companywide marketing communications efforts. This individual writes, edits and formats marketing, sales enablement, online, and social media content and helps execute internal/external content strategy in support of business objectives.

Essential Functions

•Developing content for sales enablement, marketing collateral, online assets and social media

•Editing and proofreading content for sales enablement, marketing collateral, online assets and social media

•Formatting content in branded templates using Word, PowerPoint and Publisher programs

•Curating the content library in SharePoint

•Helping with content planning and execution

•Identifying and documenting opportunities for process improvement

•Conducting stakeholder meetings/interviews for content ideas

•Ensuring content is accurate and consistent with all Cincinnati Bell brands

•Conducting social media research to recommend and implement best practices

Education

Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (English/Journalism/Communications/Marketing)

Experience/Background

0 to 3 years of relevant experience

Special Knowledge/Skills

•Strong writing/editing skills

•Strong verbal/written communication skills

•Expert users of the Microsoft suite including Word, Publisher, Excel, and PowerPoint programs

•Understanding of social media

•Technology and digital savvy
