Position : Credit & Collections Analyst II

Location : Cincinnati, OH

Job Purpose :

This position is responsible for managing an accounts receivable portfolio that is billed out of the Centralized On-line Customer Record Information System (COCRIS) and Carrier Access Billing System (CABS) billing systems. This role requires a high level of ongoing internal/external customer support for strategic accounts. Additionally, this role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of various accounts receivable functions and systems are essential. Finally, this position will also have select top tier customers for workload balance within the team and career growth and development for the employee.

Essential Functions :

  • Support internal/external customers to collect past due balances on strategic accounts using tools and strategies that effectively cure the accounts (70%)

  • Properly document all problem/disputes and invoice references in order for the team to effectively manage the account (10%)

  • Maintain and manage AR reporting for the CABS billing system (10%)

  • Develop strategic solutions to improve the overall Day Sales Outstanding of accounts within portfolio (10%)

Education :

Two years of College or Technical School resulting in an Associate's Degree or equivalent

Relevant Work Experience :

2 to 4 years in related field

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Excel experience

  • Process Improvement skills

  • Ability to apply strategic approaches

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Mid-Level of expertise in systems (CRIS and CABS) is advantageous

  • Effective Time Management Skills

Supervisory Responsibility :

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities

Work Environment

Mostly remote work with some in office time required
