Worksite Location:

This position reports to the Cincinnati, Ohio, office but requires that the employee be willing to relocate to assigned worksites at various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. and reside within commuting distance of the current assigned worksite.

Duties:

CBTS Technology Solutions LLC d/b/a CBTS seeks an Ecommerce Engineer Senior Advisory Lead to lead, mentor and review the development and engineering processes. Responsible for Interfacing with vendors for proof of concept design, testing and go-live production of new emerging technologies; Taking part in architectural reviews for current and newly considered emerging technologies; Conducting code reviews of other development and engineering teammates; Interacting with and lead offshore teams on product and project initiatives; Participating in business stakeholder meetings, sharing status updates on technical delivery milestones, challenges, and achievements; Researching and developing innovative digital solutions for .com site on ATG platform; Working closely with product owner, architect, UX designer and other engineers to design and develop scalable, robust and secure software applications; Building rapid prototype and evaluating solutions to design and innovate technologies or solution for effective and rapid application deployment Document Application Design (AD) and ensure solution adheres to the technical design; and Providing thought leadership and promoting best practice in building large scale ecommerce website. This position reports to the Cincinnati, Ohio, office but requires that the employee be willing to relocate to assigned worksites at various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. and reside within commuting distance of the current assigned worksite.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field. 8 years of experience in software design, implementation, troubleshooting within a large (5,000+ users) or enterprise network environment; 5 years of experience working in a Corporate Enterprise (25,000+ users) IT environment; 5 years of software design and development experience in the retail or e-commerce space using either Java or J2EE; 5 years of experience developing e-commerce solutions using ATG Web Commerce Suite and tools, or a similar e-commerce application suite (WebSphere Commerce, Demandware, etc.); 3 years of experience developing Restful Webservices and APIs; 3 years of experience troubleshooting performance issues in RDBMS systems, including Oracle Expert; 3 years of experience working with Cl/CD pipelines; 2 years of experience migrating legacy applications to micro-services modern data architectures; 1 year of experience working with at least one of the following frameworks: Angular, Spring-Java or React; 1 year of experience working in agile software development; Demonstrated ability owning and driving technical delivery in an enterprise system spanning multiple business lines; Demonstrated ability working with and managing offshore teams.
