Cincinnati Bell Enterprise Project Manager in Cincinnati, Ohio

Position : Enterprise Project Manager

Location : Cincinnati, OH

Job Purpose

Leads complex projects with significant financial impact to the organization. Directly influences activities on business-critical projects through all project phases. Experience in oral and written communications with all levels of stakeholder to ensure project outcome is achieved as defined, within budget and timeline.

Essential Functions

  • Leads the development of key project artifacts, including project plan, project charter, scope, project schedule, risk management plan, etc.

  • Actively manages project scope, quality, resources, timeline, value, issues, risks, changes, and action items throughout the project lifecycle

  • Leads cross-functional teams assigned during the duration of a project, clearly communicates expectations, and holds team accountable to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks

  • Communicates project status to team, business stakeholders, and executive leadership as appropriate throughout the duration of the assignment and post-implementation to make certain all impacted stakeholders have an understanding of risks, issues, and activities related to the project

  • Obtains appropriate level of approval for all project documentation and/or sub-teams assigned to ensure appropriate understanding of expectations among all stakeholders

  • Provides leadership, coaching, and guidance on a continuous basis to project team members in the areas of project lifecycle, operating procedures, processes, and practices


  • Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

  • Information Systems or Computer Science degrees are a plus

Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses

  • Project management certification preferred (PMP, ACP or equivalent)


  • 6 to 7 years of experience in Project Manager and/or IT role

  • Five or more years of project management experience required, preferably with large, complex projects

  • Three or more years of functional, operational, or professional services experience required

  • Experience with IT infrastructure and application transformation projects is preferred

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a hybrid model from home and an office environment

  • Travel may be required

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Leads cross-functional project teams typically involving several departments and 20+ project team members.


  • Typically leads projects 6 months or greater in duration and with a total budget of $500k or greater

  • May lead multiple intermediate projects concurrently

  • Most projects involve significant IT elements
