Cincinnati Bell Manager - Sales Development and Onboarding in Cincinnati, Ohio

Position : Manager - Sales Development and Onboarding

Location : Cincinnati, OH

Job Purpose :

The Manager- Sales Development & On-Boarding will have 3 key focus items. 1.) Hire, on-board, train, develop, and manage 6-12 sales reps on the newly formed Sales Development & On-Boarding Team. 2.) Work with Sales Director to design metrics & ensure individual contributors are out performing KPIs 3.) Successfully career-path top performers into new roles up into the organization.

The Manager- Sales Development & On-Boarding will be responsible for exceeding sales targets for 6-12 individual sales reps and building their team from the group up.

Essential Functions :

  • Interview, Hire, Lead, Coach, Develop, and Promote Sales Talent through the Organization

  • Develop Sales Goals, KPIs, Development Strategy and Execution with Sales Director

  • Mentor & Recruit Sales Talent Inside & Outside the Organization

  • Establishes Training Framework & Miles Stones to Track Aggressive New Hire Growth

  • Responsible for Exceeding Sales Metrics & Acquisition Targets for 6-12 Sales Reps

  • Cope with Stressful Situations & Aggressive Sales Targets

  • Ability to share vision & collaborate with peer leaders in a variety of departments (recruiting, training, marketing, analytics, solutions engineering, and sales management)

Education :

Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

General Work Experience :

3 to 5 years

Previous Work Experience :

  • Sales, Business Development, and/or Sales Management

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Must have strong leadership skills

  • Excellent coaching skills and a high understanding of customer perspective and corporate goals

  • Ability to manage people with a diversity of talents

  • Strong data background essential

  • Strong negotiation skills needed

  • Good office automation skills needed

  • Strong communications skills

Supervisory Responsibility :

Supervises two or more non-exempt employees
