Sales Support Administrator

Job Purpose

This position is responsible for a wide variety of administrative support activities. This will be a hybrid role between Office Administrative and Sales Support responsibilities.

Essential Functions

•Work directly with Account Manager and customers to design, price, and order hardware, software, and services

•Also, working directly with account teams to support a variety of business objectives

•Work with various distributors and manufacturers to obtain pricing and ensure delivery; follow procedures to ensure products and services are billed correctly for one-time charges and recurring maintenance and managed service contracts

•Prepare quotes for product maintenance services, both through CBTS and various manufacturers

•Updates certificates of insurance for partners

•Track visa paperwork, and also work with account teams for follow up

•Track referral bonuses owed

•Create SalesForce Opportunities/Sub-opportunities

•Manage Building & Facilities Relationships

•Parking

•Maintenance

•Security

•Storage facility

•Marketing Material Management

Education

Two years of College or Technical School resulting in an Associate’s Degree or equivalent

Experience/Background

6 to 7 years experience

Special Knowledge/Skills

•Demonstrate communication skills, both oral and written

•Demonstrate organization skills

•Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

•Must be able to multitask and prioritize work appropriately

•Must have demonstrated leadership skills and decision making abilities

•Must be detail oriented and possess excellent follow-through skills

•Must work well in a team oriented environment

•Skilled Keyboard (typing)

•Document development (Desk Top/Graphics)

•PC Skills in the following areas: Spreadsheet, Word-processing, Departmental specific software

•Excellent problem solving and negotiating skills

•Must be flexible in terms of work schedule; must be available for extended hour project work and for anticipated critical deadlines that extend the work day

•Tact and assertiveness must be skillfully balanced in dealing with internal and external contacts

•Must understand the roles of the Company staff and be responsive to requests and helpful in educating them on various processes
