Position : Voice Application Engineer I
Location : Cincinnati, OH
Job Purpose :
The Voice Application Engineer I is responsible for delivering UCaaS - CCaaS solutions to business customers.
Essential Functions :
Project managing the delivery of stand-alone UCaaS solutions
Consult, design and implement call flows based on customer requirements
Ordering equipment
Configuring/provisioning services
Scheduling field resources
Coordinating number porting
Turning up/cutting over services
Scheduling customer training
Performing various administrative tasks such as:
Triggering billing for new/changed services
Logging project data
Other duties as assigned
Education :
Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses :
- Project management, service management or technical certifications are preferred (CAPM, CompTIA, etc.
Relevant Work Experience:
0 to 2 years in related field
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Working knowledge of VoIP technologies, carrier circuits, number porting - basic networking
Customer-focused
Excellent organizational skills
Good interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to self-motivate and be productive without direct supervision
Excellent computer skills, knowledgeable in MS Office suite
Supervisory Responsibility :
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities .
Work Environment :
Requires ability to work from home, including a quiet environment and access to adequate internet. Some in-office or customer premises requirements as needed.
